This was an educational exercise in college to train our ability in drawing different materials, structures and objects.
This years last assignment in our illustration class was to create an artworks based on a poem. We could decide between five lyric pieces and were free to draw anything that came to our minds. I chose “The City Of death” by Edgar Allan Poe and went for an abstract approach. I used digital brushed I normally avoid to try out something new and set almost all of my layers to different settings to create an unique fading look.
